Playing Catch-Up

So, we've been absent from the blogging world for awhile. Here's the abbreviated version of the last month or so:

- As you can see, Maura got her hair cut off. We just couldn't handle the tangles of long hair...and she looks so darn cute with her short bob!
- Maura had a GREAT 5th birthday! She got a bike, so she's on cloud 9!

Bike! I got a bike!!!

- Teagan is walking up a storm! For the record, Maura didn't take her official first step until May 2005 - she was 15 months. Teagan was almost 12 months. Gotta keep up with that big sister!
- Teagan had Roseola (fever for 3 days followed by a non-irritating full-body rash) about 3 weeks ago.
- We got Teagan a new carseat for Mommy's car and resurrected Maura's old one for Daddy's car - she absolutely HATED the cute pink ones we had bought her in August!
- We have completely overhauled our house - the poor man's way. We have painted the living room and dining room a tannish-brown with a peet mossy green wall. We painted the kitchen red. We painted the bathroom bright green, put up and polka dot shower curtain, and took down the window curtains. We still have to paint our room orange, but don't you always put your own stuff last? We also got new furniture, area rugs, and wall art in the living room. I promise to post pics...someday.
- Mommy finally got a new work schedule! NO MORE SUNDAYS!!! I will now be working Monday-Thursday, starting this coming week. Normal weekends seem so bizarre!
- Teagan has her first ear infection. She was just diagnosed yesterday...after 3 doses of medication, she's back to the sweet girl we all know and love. Thankfully!

Gotta catch up on her beauty sleep!
