Happy July!

Ms. Teagan-Arie was 5 months old on the 4th of July. Wow. Can you even believe it? We can't! She's eating cereal like nobody's business, pretty fond of sweet potatoes, and not all that excited about sweet peas...but I think it's a consistency thing with the peas. We'll keep trying :) She's making all sorts of new sounds, like 'g-g-g-g' and 'mmmmmm.' She's also trying to do rasberries and drooling A LOT in the process! I swear that she's super close to having some teeth popping through. (Brooke - we did the spoon test again and I SWEAR I can hear something!!!)

Maura is still having some serious temper tantrums, but the new daily schedule seems to be helping. Poor little thing. As frustrating as it is for us to deal with her tantrums, I can't even imagine how frustrated she is. We're working on it though. Lots of cuddles and a strict schedule - we'll see if this calms things down.

However, Ms. Maura got a VERY special treat last Thursday - she got to have a sleepover at Tutu and Bert's house ALL BY HERSELF! Wow...what a big girl! She played Pet Shops with Aunt Tara and helped Tutu make fruit salad for our July 4th party. She loved it! She felt so special not having her mommy, daddy, or baby sister with her. Funny girl!

Here are a few pics to get you through the next week :)

Whenever the front door is open, our two furry children fight for the best spot - guess this was a tie. Lily knows that if she had tried to get any closer to the door, Chloe would have beat her up. Poor dog - low girl on the totem pole!
Here's a picture of Maura after her last major tantrum. I think the picture says it all!
Who would have thunk that a tent on the floor of her room was all she needed to make her happy! If you look really close, you can see her snug as a bug in a rug during naptime today.
And here are a couple of pictures of the cutest baby in the world on the 4th...sweet girl :)

Hope everyone has a great week!
